It was later converted into a cruise ship facility and became home to the “Love Boat”. Today the Port of Los Angeles World Cruise Center serves as the West Coast’s largest cruise port with hundreds of thousands of passengers using the facility.

There are a total of 36 booths for checking in passengers on the 'B' side of the terminal with an additional 12 booths on the 'A' side which can be used for special groups or early arrivals.
